Sales & Marketing Product Attorney
About the position
Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and propose solutions for issues related to sales and marketing under general supervision.
• Advise on business plans and anticipate future legal needs.
• Coordinate support for assigned sales and marketing initiatives with the legal team and other departments.
• Utilize a wide range of legal knowledge to identify implications of business decisions across various legal areas such as privacy, insurance compliance, consumer protection laws, intellectual property, and contractual obligations.
Requirements
• At least 2 years of experience practicing law, preferably at a law firm or in-house, supporting consumer-facing companies.
• Experience in property & casualty insurance, financial services, or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus for speaking and writing.
• A law degree and an active law license to practice in the United States.
• Strong listening and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand business plans, processes, and procedures.
• Capability to provide legal advice with incomplete information.
• Superb judgment regarding legal risks and mitigation opportunities.
• Solution-oriented mindset.

• Experience in product counseling or as a product attorney.
