Sr Oracle OCI Services and Solutions Architect MAX VENDOR RATE: *** ON SITE: 4 days/week required Complete Description: IN PERSON IVS ONLY. Must be local (in state) and not have to relocate Oracle OCI Services and Solutions Architect MAX VENDOR RATE: *** ON SITE: 4 days/week required Updated info from the mgr: Candidates should be in state and should be prepared to come into the office 4 days a week. Interviews will be IN PERSON unless events occur that may necessitate a virtual interview. Candidates should only be forwarded to the mgr that are prepared to come into the office 4 days per week. If they need to relocate, they should NOT be considered for the position. ABOUT THE ROLE Assist with the design, review, and implementation of Oracle OCI services and solution offerings. The position will work with customer agencies, managed cloud suppliers, as well as internal agency teams to ensure that architectures and environments provide efficient, effective, secure, and compliant solutions based on best practices and well architected frameworks. Documented experience with cloud architecture, operations and management in a public cloud environment - specifically Oracle's OCI. Experience performing reviews of proposed changes & projects relative to the security of an IT environment. At least 8 years of forward-thinking IT experience. 3 years of hands-on cloud technology experience (preferably with OCI). Excellent communication and presentation skills required. Experience with implementing, migrating or managing operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment. College degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledgeable of cloud networking architectures utilizing virtual networks, VPN, Subnets, network security groups. load balancers, etc. Thorough understanding of customers priorities and the business criticality of platforms, applications and services.
