Food Truck Operator
About the position
Responsibilities
• Greet customers, take orders, and operate a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Prepare and serve food and beverages in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized food truck, including the kitchen, dining area, and exterior.
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and well-being of customers.
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist with food preparation, including ordering ingredients and supplies.
• Work effectively in a team environment to provide excellent customer service.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Provide information about our menu and services to customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Drive truck from store to desired location.
Requirements
• Prior experience in the food industry, including food preparation and service.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Nice-to-haves
• Proficiency in basic math and cash handling.
• Experience with food preparation and service in a café or grocery store environment.
• Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service.
• Knowledge of the food industry and current trends.
• Willingness to help with tasks outside of the kitchen, such as restocking supplies or assisting with maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Willingness to travel with the food truck within GA/FL.
