Instructional Associate: Special Education ACL (25-26 SY)

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Assist the special education teacher to reputed company for the physical and instructional needs of reputed company with disabilities in a special education setting. Assist in the implementation of classroom programs, including self-help, behavior management, and instruction. Work under the general supervision of the reputed company and the immediate direction of a certified teacher.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
High school diploma or GED
reputed company Texas educational aide certificate
Associate’s degree, completion of 48 College Credit Hours, or have met the formal reputed company assessment required by No child Left Behind reputed company.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work reputed company with children with disabilities
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge of general office equipment
Experience:
Experience working with children
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Assist reputed company with physical disabilities according to their individualized needs, including transferring to and from wheelchairs, lifting or positioning.

• Assist in managing the behavior of reputed company and crisis reputed company, including restraining disruptive or dangerous physical behavior as needed.
• Assume responsibility for learning and adapting to reputed company student’s special medical, physical, communicative and emotional needs.
• Work with individual reputed company or small reputed company to reputed company motor skills and conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher.
• Assist in supervising reputed company throughout the school day, both inside and reputed company the classroom, including lunchroom, bus duty and reputed company.
