National Account Manager - Walmart, Sam's Club & Target (Hybrid)
Your Mission
As National Account Manager, you will own and grow three of our most strategic U.S. retail accounts: Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Target. You’ll lead the full commercial relationship across in-store and .com, manage line reviews, promotional planning, and digital execution — and drive cross-functional accountability across the business.
You’ll report directly to the CEO and manage a Sales Coordinator responsible for backend systems, item setup, compliance tracking, and content management. This is a high-impact, customer-facing role with full ownership and visibility.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and grow the Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Target accounts across in-store and digital channels.
· Act as the primary point of contact for buyers, planners, and digital merchandising teams.
· Build and execute annual sales plans, promotional strategies, and assortment roadmaps.
· Own the full sell-in process — from initial pitch to line review and post-launch performance.
· Drive performance on Walmart.com, Target.com, and SamsClub.com:
· Optimize content, SEO, reviews, pricing, and digital shelf presence
· Monitor online KPIs and identify growth opportunities
· Manage pricing, margin, promotional spend, and joint business planning with each account.
· Collaborate closely with Design, Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Costing, and Marketing teams to deliver retailer-specific solutions.
· Oversee the Sales Coordinator to ensure execution through Retail Link, POL, Spark, PCN, and all relevant retailer systems.
· Stay ahead of competitive activity, category shifts, and retailer strategies.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience:
· Experience managing major national retail accounts, including Walmart and/or Target.
· Proven ability to grow business through strategic account planning and promotional execution.
· Direct experience managing .com retail channels and understanding of digital performance metrics.
· Familiarity with Retail Link, POL, Spark, PCN, and other retailer-facing platforms.
· Strong financial acumen with experience managing margins, forecasts, and promotions.
· Skilled in leading top-to-top meetings, crafting compelling sell-in decks, and handling complex line reviews.
· Strong leadership, presentation, and internal influence skills.
· Experience managing or mentoring support roles (Sales Coordinator or Account Specialist).
· Self-motivated, agile, and comfortable in a flat, fast-moving organization.
Required Skills:
• Strong ownership mentality — you think and act like a business operator, not an admin.
• Proactive, fast-moving, and resourceful — you take charge and get results without being chased.
• Strong commercial and operational thinking — you understand how things flow and how to fix them when they don’t.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills — Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar tools for reporting and performance tracking is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confident liaising with both internal teams and retail partners.
• Highly self-motivated with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
• Comfortable leading cross-functional meetings and managing complex retail timelines across departments.
• A positive, practical team player who helps drive a global culture of ownership, agility, and excellence.
