Small Claims Legal Filing - Verizon

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2025-11-03
I ordered headphones from Verizon in January 2025 which never came: https://www.verizon.com/digital/nsa/nos/ui/orders/tracker Every time I contact Verizon, they direct me to in store. Every time I go in store, they direct me to contact corporate. I have over 30 hours into fighting this battle over 6 months. I’ve been to the store multiple times and have contact led Verizon many times. Out of principle, I’d like to recoup my losses. It’s wrong for a company this size to be able to just keep your money after a purchase. In one of the chat support tickets, they acknowledge that my inventory wasn’t sent, and that they will not be issuing me a refund (screenshot attached). I’m attaching one of the recent phone call transcripts from a recent attempt which summarizes some of what I’ve attempted to do: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11bVgIgay5JqR-r9O389AevX9ZDswnxD4DJ0GpMjfmLE/edit I have the recording of the phone call if that would help. What are my options to recoup the time I have invested into this? I think small claims court would be my best option, but know little about how legal things work. Verizon is obviously a major corporation with a big legal team, but what they are doing here is wrong. Let me know what you think my best options are and how you can help.
