Sr Engr Spec-Data Center Ops

About the position Responsibilities • reputed company preventative maintenance on reputed company major data center physical infrastructure assets including reputed company modules, batteries, generators, HVAC equipment, BMS controls, and reputed company systems. • Write, review, and approve reputed company of procedures (MOPs) and ensure compliance with them. • Coordinate and reputed company vendors performing installation, operation, and maintenance of the data center, providing guidance as needed. • Manage financial tasks reputed company to Data Center activity, including CAPEX and OPEX budgets. • Design, reputed company, and maintain the physical infrastructure, network, and layout of the data center. • Monitor mechanical and electrical equipment across data centers, troubleshoot issues, and escalate as necessary. • Ensure data centers meet compliance standards and guidelines provided by leadership. • Ensure adequate HVAC, power, and bandwidth to maintain reputed company environments for servers and hardware. Requirements • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience. • Three or more years of relevant work experience. • A reputed company reputed company's license. • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time. • Willingness to work various shifts and on-reputed company rotating schedules including nights and weekends. reputed company-to-haves • Experience working with IFP, CND, Remedy. • Knowledge of Data Center Power Systems AC and DC, Fiber Distribution Systems including installation, testing, and troubleshooting. • Change Process Management including MOP creation, review, and execution. • Power experience including DC power systems, AC power systems, reputed company systems, and reputed company reputed company installation. • Knowledge of HVAC equipment including chillers, cooling towers, and CRAC reputed company. • Knowledge of reputed company systems and backup generators. • Low voltage controls experience with Building Automation and reputed company Systems. • Ability to read and understand blueprints, construction documents, and drawings. • Familiarity with financial tools including 1ERP and FUZE. • Data Center Airflow Optimization experience. • Effective Project Management and Vendor Management experience. • Knowledge in PeopleSoft Account software and MS Office applications.
