About the position
Responsibilities
• Designs, plans, installs, implements, and maintains telecommunication technology systems, including switching systems, voice, mail, and cellular equipment.
• Designs and stands up new systems and platforms within the Network.
• Improves the customer experience and takes ownership of assigned tasks.
• Responsible for defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards and maintaining technology resources related to infrastructure (both on-premises and cloud).
• Designs and/or develop new network-related technologies across the company's various networks and systems.
• Develops maintenance plans for the existing telecommunication systems, identifying and determining processes for updating or decommissioning components based on the requirements of the business.
• Analyzes the network to identify opportunities for performance optimization and automation of existing processes and develops the plans/designs.
• Translates requests from internal teams into network requirements making adjustments to internal systems accordingly.
• Collaborates with the business to develop the designs for network creation, modeling, deployment, and installation across multiple OS environments.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
Nice-to-haves
• A degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science or Electronics.
• Experience in scripting languages and automation tools.
• Experience with 4G/5G Core.
• Experience with managing high expectations from multiple directions with the proven ability to focus team members on objectives.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
