Type: Contract (long-term) Location: Remote Compensation: Competitive, with growth potential based on performance Reports to: Creative Director & Editorial Lead About the Role We’re building a best-in-class finance channel and are hiring an experienced faceless YouTube creator/editor who can own end-to-end production. You’ll turn approved topics into highly watchable, search-optimized videos that educate, uncover stories, and keep viewers hooked, without appearing on camera. Core Content Focus Education: explainers, how-tos, market concepts, portfolio strategy Expert Investor Bios: concise, story-driven profiles (past & present) Documentary-Style Investigations: deep dives into trends, companies, and macro themes Financial Fraud & Scams: cautionary case studies and breakdowns What You’ll Do Own the full pipeline: research, outline, script collaboration, voiceover coordination (or self-VO), editing, motion graphics, sound design, thumbnails, SEO metadata, and upload. Edit for narrative tension: cold opens, fast hooks, pattern breaks, pacing, and retention tactics (A/B testing hooks and thumbnails). Build visually rich stories: combine stock footage, B-roll, charts, callouts, archival clips, and tasteful motion graphics. Collaborate: work with our in-house creatives for script approval, brand consistency, and final cut sign-off. Deliverables: up to 10 long-form videos/month (5–20 minutes each); the ability to spin out shorts/reels from the long-form content is a plus. Optimize: titles, descriptions, tags, end screens, chapters, and CTR-driving thumbnails; follow compliance guidelines for finance content. Must-Have Qualifications Proven YouTube experience editing faceless content (finance, entertainment, gaming, or nostalgia niches are a strong plus). Access to licensed stock footage & music libraries (e.g., Artlist, Epidemic Sound, Storyblocks, Motion Array, Envato Elements, Getty/iStock, etc.). Expert video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve; color, audio mixing, and sound design proficiency. Motion graphics & animation in After Effects (custom lower thirds, transitions, charts, kinetic text, map moves). Scripting & voiceover familiarity: can draft/doctor scripts and provide or source professional voiceover (human-sounding, clear, and compliant). Design chops in Photoshop/Illustrator for high-CTR thumbnails. YouTube SEO & analytics: keyword research, retention analysis, A/B testing hooks/thumbnails, audience insights. Research rigor: ability to cite sources, fact-check, and present complex topics clearly and responsibly. Nice to Have Finance/economics background or strong interest in markets Experience with compliance-sensitive topics (disclaimers, fair use, sourcing) Template/preset libraries for speed without sacrificing originality Basic data-viz skills (animated charts, on-brand infographics) Tools You Use (or Equivalent) Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition DaVinci Resolve/Fairlight Photoshop/Illustrator Frame.io (or similar) for review G-Suite/Drive, Slack Stock & music libraries (list yours) What Success Looks Like (KPIs) High hook retention (0:00–0:30) Average view duration & % viewed trending up Click-through rates on thumbnails/titles Consistent on-time delivery (production calendar adherence) Accuracy, brand voice, and compliance Workflow We provide a topic list and brand guardrails. You propose angle, outline, and hook. Script refined with our team → approval. Edit with motion graphics, music/SFX, and VO. Thumbnail + metadata delivered with final cut. Revisions (if any) → upload package. Legal/Compliance All media must be properly licensed; maintain proof of licenses. Content is work-for-hire; project files handed over upon request. Respect fair use; always credit sources where applicable. No sensational misinformation; finance disclaimers included as needed. Cover letter must include "Platinum" in the title. Include: Portfolio links (top 3 faceless YouTube videos you edited—finance or adjacent). A 3–5 sentence breakdown of your process for one of those videos (hook strategy, retention tactics, thumbnail logic). Your tool stack and stock/music libraries you actively use. Rates (per video and/or monthly for 10 videos) and typical turnaround. Availability (time zone, weekly bandwidth). Optional: a quick 30–60 sec mock hook (script or VO sample) for a topic like “How The Hunt Brothers Cornered The Silver Market” This is a long-term collaboration with a strong payment structure.
