Associate Bankruptcy Attorney

A full-service, creditor's rights law firm with a national bankruptcy practice is seeking an Associate Bankruptcy Attorney to join its growing practice. We are open to training the right team-oriented candidate, even with minimal experience. License to practice law in New Jersey required. Specific Job Responsibilities: • Reviewing and resolving routine bankruptcy matters • Attending hearings (virtual or in person depending on location) as necessary • Responding to general bankruptcy inquiries • Monitoring electronic filings (ECFs) in bankruptcy cases • Regular communication with the client, opposing counsel, and/or the Court Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Knowledge of bankruptcy rules/laws and general Creditor Rights laws (preferred, not required) • Computer Literacy Professionalism • Keyboard Skills Attention to detail • Time Management Communication Skills Required Education and Training: • Law degree – JD • Barred in New Jersey • Admitted to Bankruptcy Courts in New Jersey (preferred, not required) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
