Supervisor of Medical & Clinical Operations

About the position Responsibilities • Manages day-to-day and production operations for a team of 30-40 medical coders • Develops procedures to increase departmental accuracy and efficiency through prompt identification and resolution of routine and complex production issues • Assesses, evaluates and addresses daily workload and queues • Analyzes productivity of medical coders compares productivity to capacity plan. Identifies variances and implements proactive solutions to mitigate risk • Responsible for quality monitoring activities including identifying areas of improvement and plan the implementation of improvement areas • Follow guidelines for competencies for coders; identifies training and development opportunities for coders • Incorporate feedback from operational, financial and QA reports to improve performance Requirements • High School Diploma / GED • Must be 18 years of age OR older • 2+ years of experience working in an Operations/Production environment or 2+ years of team lead or supervisor/manager experience. • Experience with Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort / filter, and work within tables) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management) • Ability to work Monday -Friday, 08:00AM - 05:00PM CST Nice-to-haves • 2+ years of leadership experience • 2+ years of experience working in a remote team setting • 2+ years of healthcare experience • PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma certifications • Coding certification to include the following: CPC, CRC, RHIA, or RHIT Benefits • Comprehensive benefits package • Incentive and recognition programs • Equity stock purchase • 401k contribution Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
