About the position
Responsibilities
• Actively supports efforts to enhance the customer experience.
• Acquires new residential customers through door-to-door contact.
• Conducts proactive consultative needs analysis with prospective customers.
• Develops and presents sales presentations on products and services.
• Completes necessary paperwork to support sales activities accurately.
• Participates in sales meetings and training programs.
• Achieves monthly sales quotas in various telecommunication services.
• Completes administrative tasks related to products sold.
• Informs manager of competitive pricing programs and marketing directives.
• Attends and completes training programs.
Requirements
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Engaging interpersonal skills and ability to listen.
• Strong personal drive to sell to prospective customers.
• Ability to travel to assigned territories using a reliable vehicle.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems and communication devices.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-haves
• Success in a previous sales position or direct sales experience.
• Knowledge of cable or telecommunications services.
• 2+ years of sales or relevant work experience.
