Position Overview Entry Level .Net Software Developer, Enterprise Permits & Licensing. We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated in efficiently building quality web applications as we work toward our “cloud readiness” goal. Our team extends government services to citizens by providing streamlined, digital workflows that enable anytime, anywhere access for applying for permits and licenses, processing plan reviews, requesting inspections, and paying invoices online or through mobile devices. NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring presence in the Lawrenceville, GA office 3 days per week. Work on solutions that enable new businesses to safely build, open their doors, and comply with community development, business management regulation, and code compliance while supporting fire prevention and structural safety. Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia | Travel: 0-5% Key Responsibilities • Effectively partner, communicate, and negotiate with business analysts, development, and support groups to gather and communicate business requirements. • Understand technical problems and resolve them in a scalable and maintainable manner. • Mentor and guide design direction with colleagues (spending 10%-20% of time on this). • Utilize web technologies for approximately 80% of development efforts. • Investigate and evaluate alternative web technologies. • Design and implement coding specifications, products, and features for web solutions. • Design, code, and integrate with frameworks and APIs to build complex business models. • Adhere to design best practices and patterns. • Utilize SOLID principles to design OOP applications. • Guide systems testing and validation procedures. • Understand REST technologies with a focus on utilizing Microsoft C# frameworks. Required Qualifications • BS Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • 1-3 years’ experience in web technologies/frameworks such as Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, npm, SASS, Less, webpack, ReactJS, etc. • Understanding of Web API patterns and REST. Preferred Qualifications • Some experience in Microsoft .NET, C#, or other OOP frameworks.
