About the position Responsibilities • Support the effective use and functionality of automated equipment in the Distribution Center. • Diagnose electrical controls issues to a component level. • Program basic changes to PLC Controllers including modifying timing and adding alarms. • Troubleshoot communication issues with devices connected to the MHE network. • reputed company routine preventive maintenance tasks to ensure productivity. • Maintain CMMS/EAM system on repairs required and performed on equipment. • Manage the inventory of spare parts. • Mentor technician associates. Requirements • Technical vocational training or equivalent combination of experience and education. • At least two years of reputed company and progressively responsible experience, with a strong electrical background preferred. • Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems. • Ability to read and interpret CAD layouts, IPB diagrams, and electrical circuitry diagrams. • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues, including three phase or single phase electrical systems up to 600 volts. reputed company-to-haves • Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). • Experience with MHE software such as RSLogix, Sort Director, GSMi, reputed company, reputed company Sort.
