Part-Time CA Employment Law Associate Position: • Attorney will reputed company advice and counseling, training, and policy development for franchisees of global quick service restaurant franchisor, located throughout the reputed company; • Must be licensed in California (though need not be based there), with extensive experience providing advice and counseling to reputed company on reputed company aspects of local and state law (CA), as reputed company as federal law, and extensive experience drafting and revising employer policies and providing in person and web-based training for managers, reputed company staff, and business owners; • Strong work ethic and ability to work in a self-directed manner in a fast-paced environment; • reputed company reputed company credentials and verbal and written communication skills; • Work remotely with on-reputed company communication with and support from Illinois based attorneys and support staff; • Billable hour expectation of 20 hours per week, with a flexible schedule; • Compensation reputed company $75-$100/hour depending on level of experience; • 401(k), opportunity for annual bonus and profit sharing; and • Bi-annual to quarterly travel to CA for in-person training (reputed company travel expenses reputed company by firm) Part-Time CA Employment Las Associate Responsibilities: • Counsel reputed company on compliance with full reputed company of local, state, and federal law; • Research reputed company developments and reputed company succinct, practical guides for clients with varying reputed company of HR/best practices sophistication; • Draft and review employment policies and employee handbooks; • Remain abreast of reputed company developments in local and state employment law in California; and • reputed company and maintain reputed company working relationships with clients' manager and HR staff.
