Strategic Advisor, Healthcare
Description:
• Support the implementation of healthcare redesign, provider reimbursement and partnership strategies
• Manage development efforts related to enhancement and maintenance of products and market offer components
• Assist with strategic planning, complex financial/qualitative analysis and thought leadership
• Present strategic concepts, planning data, medical expense/reimbursement rates, provider performance metrics and impact assessments
• Organize, optimize, and communicate progress towards completion of work portfolio
• Collaborate with other departments as a representative for healthcare delivery transformation and/or reimbursement strategy
• Analyze and monitor industry, regulatory, technology and market trends affecting operations and payer-provider dynamics
• Support operational improvements with new analysis/reporting capabilities, project management techniques or consulting approaches
• Provide pharmacy sales support and develop custom pharmacy pricing
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) OR 5+ years of experience in a related field in lieu of degree
• 3+ years of experience in a related field (e.g., healthcare reimbursement analysis or payer/provider engagement)
• Underwriting experience strongly preferred
• Experience in sales support and consultation is a plus
• Familiarity with pharmacy pricing concepts is desirable
• Proficiency with MS Excel strongly preferred
