Rising Phoenix Manager

About the position Responsibilities • Oversee the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of the Rising Phoenix Program. • Manage student recruitment and admissions processes. • Supervise daily operations and staff, including Rising Phoenix Student Success Coaches. • Coordinate program budgets and monitor financial resources for individual cohorts. • Collect and analyze data to evaluate program services and uphold integrity. • Develop and document program policies and procedures in compliance with regulations. • Build and maintain partnerships with high school partners and other universities. • Serve as a resource for school partners, addressing inquiries and concerns. • Teach sections of the First Year Seminar course for Rising Phoenix students each fall semester. Requirements • Master's degree in Counseling, Student Affairs, Education, or a related field. • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with high school and/or college students in admissions, academic advising, or program development. • Demonstrated leadership experience, including supervision and training of professional staff. • Experience working with diverse, underrepresented, and first-generation students. Nice-to-haves • Bilingual, preferably in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, or Oneida. • Demonstrated experience in supporting institutional efforts to create a diverse and inclusive community.
