Sales Merchandiser
About the position
Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary contact between Coke Northeast management and store management.
• Build customer relationships while increasing business by selling and ordering products for a defined customer base.
• Regularly stock product on shelves and in coolers while ensuring appropriate rotation standards are maintained.
• Educate and excite customers about the beverage portfolio.
• Sell incremental displays, equipment placements, and promotional programs where applicable.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and company assets.
• Ensure each account meets defined merchandising standards and determine stores' product needs.
• Transmit appropriate replenishment orders to ensure optimal stock levels.
• Communicate and collaborate account activities to appropriate business partners.
• Perform regular lifting of up to 40 pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling, and merchandising.
Requirements
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• 1+ years of general work experience required.
• 1+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
• Excellent planning and organization skills.
• Proficient computer application skills.
• Ability to repetitively lift, pull and push up to 40 pounds, reach above head height, stand, walk, kneel, bend and reach.
• Ability to push and pull manual and powered material handling equipment (i.e., pallet jack, hand-truck etc.) containing product loads for a minimum of 100 yards without assistance.
• Valid driver's license, driving record within policy guidelines, and insurance that meets company requirements.
