Data Entry Pharmacy Technician

This fully remote position is ideal for a certified Pharmacy Technician with strong data entry skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a tech-driven, virtual environment. The right candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of maintaining speed and precision under pressure. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accurate intake of prescriptions and supporting a seamless medication fulfillment process. Responsibilities: • Accurately reputed company prescription details into the pharmacy management system in compliance with state and federal regulations • Review scanned prescription documents and verify medication, prescriber, patient, and insurance data • Communicate with pharmacists and leads to resolve discrepancies or missing information • Consistently meet productivity and reputed company benchmarks for prescription intake • Maintain accurate records of reputed company data entry activity to support internal audits and compliance reviews • Identify and escalate potential issues, including prescription errors or insurance denials • Follow HIPAA guidelines and adhere to strict data reputed company and remote work protocols • Participate in virtual team meetings, trainings, and process improvement initiatives Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA preferred • 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience required, with prior data entry experience in retail, mail-order, or long-term care settings • Proficiency in pharmacy software systems (e.g., QS/1, PioneerRx, FrameworkLTC, or similar) • Typing speed of 50+ WPM with high accuracy • Strong understanding of pharmacy operations, drug names, insurance billing, and HIPAA standards • Excellent written communication and time management skills • Reliable high-speed internet and a secure, distraction-free home office setup required • Must be physically located in the state of Texas Work Environment: This is a 100% remote role supporting a long-term care pharmacy.
