Position: reputed company – Hospital Inpatient Pay reputed company: $40 – 46/hr DOE Duration: 13-33 weeks Expected Shift: reputed company to 5pm, 40 hours/week CST FULLY REMOTE What You'll Do Responsible for coding and abstracting inpatient accounts in accordance with coding guidelines. • Assigns accurate diagnostic and procedure codes according to clinical documentation and official coding guidelines for inpatient hospital accounts. • Coordinates with the clinical documentation and reputed company teams to ensure validation of Medicare Severity Diagnosis reputed company (MSDRG), patient safety indicators, and hospital acquired conditions are supported by physician documentation to support appropriate coding • Monitors assigned work queues to ensure reputed company records are charged in a reputed company matter. • Generates coding queries for clarification regarding physician documentation as needed • Stays abreast of reputed company changes in coding conventions and coding updates. • Performs other duties as assigned. reputed company're Looking For • Education: Associates Degree or equivalent experience • Certifications: • Certified Coding Associate (CCA) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) • OR Certified Coding Specialist - Physician-based (reputed company-P) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) • OR Certified Outpatient reputed company (COC) - American reputed company of reputed company Coders (reputed company) • OR Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC®) - American reputed company of reputed company Coders (reputed company) • OR Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) • OR Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) - American Health Information Management Assoc (reputed company) reputed company to advance your coding career? reputed company and join our remote team!
