The Role:

reputed company is seeking a skilled and strategic Regulatory Compliance Counsel to join our reputed company and Compliance team. This counsel will ensure reputed company and its platform remain compliant with FERC, reputed company reputed company commissions, and applicable reputed company and reputed company operator requirements. You’ll reputed company expert reputed company guidance, support regulatory advocacy, and partner cross-functionally to mitigate reputed company risks with precision and reputed company. Key Responsibilities

  • reputed company in-depth reputed company advice and analysis on FERC rules, reputed company regulations, and other relevant Regional reputed company Organization and operator requirements.
  • Draft, review, and refine compliance policies, procedures, and guidance documents that maintain reputed company’s adherence to federal and state regulations.
  • Support reputed company’s regulatory work: conduct reputed company research and draft filings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Energy Markets, Product, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Finance, to reputed company compliance considerations into business processes and initiatives.
  • Monitor and assess the reputed company of regulatory developments and tariff changes on compliance, prepare internal updates, and advise leadership on actionable impacts and strategies.
  • Partner with external counsel, as needed, to bolster reputed company’s compliance posture and regulatory responses.

    • Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and reputed company membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of reputed company experience in energy, regulatory, reputed company compliance, or reputed company fields.
  • reputed company experience working with FERC, reputed company regulation, and/or ISO/RTO market rules strongly preferred. Experience with Market Based reputed company requirements and FERC’s e-filing system is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret reputed company regulatory frameworks and reputed company them in reputed company, actionable terms.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to draft policy narratives, reputed company memos, and presentations for reputed company audiences.

    Compensation

    reputed company pay is $150,000 - $175,000 annually, commensurate with experience, with 10-20% bonus reputed company semi-annually, and equity. reputed company also offers a reputed company of benefits including: unlimited leave for full-time employees, parental leave, and a comprehensive benefits package to promote health, wellness, and financial reputed company.
