Legal Compliance Operations Manager
About the position
Responsibilities
• Work with the Senior Legal Operations Manager and counsel to shape legal and state agency response processes.
• Directly manage an internal team of 4 Legal Operations Analysts and 1 Team Lead.
• Oversee DoorDash's BPO Team, maintaining strategic relationships and negotiating rates.
• Build and drive the adoption of new workflow automation and business intelligence technology.
• Scale and innovate existing legal compliance processes.
• Partner with Legal Data Engineering, Security, and IT to execute data and technology projects.
• Oversee daily operations and prepare data in response to legal requests.
Requirements
• BA/BS degree in pre-law or business fields.
• 8+ years of progressive legal process support experience in fast-moving environments.
• 1-2 years of experience in a people management role.
• Extraordinary written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in reading and responding to subpoenas, garnishments, liens, or unemployment claims.
• Strong project management experience with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Google Workplace, Slack, MacOS, MS Office, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with business intelligence tools like Mode, Sigma, and Tableau.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience working with alternative legal service providers and/or BPO Teams.
• Interest in staying updated on industry trends and regulations.
