MUST HAVES:
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
-
Active RN license in the state of Kansas
-
Several years of nursing experience
-
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
-
AHA BLS Instructor and AHA Faculty Member (or willingness to obtain)
-
Nurse Educator certification preferred within two years of hire
Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills
A highly respected, community-based hospital located just west of Wichita is seeking a dynamic Staff Educator / Employee Health Nurse / Education RN to lead staff development and support employee health initiatives. Position Overview:

Pay range: $27.75–$45.47/hour, based on experience and certifications

Key Responsibilities:
Staff Education:
-
Design, implement, and evaluate orientation, continuing education, and in-service training for clinical and non-clinical staff

Collaborate with department managers to assess learning needs and maintain staff competencies
-
Deliver individual and group education programs aligned with regulatory standards and best practices
Serve as a resource for patient, family, and community education
Employee Health Nurse:
-
Manage the employee health program, ensuring compliance with immunization and safety standards
-
Serve as a subject matter expert for staff wellness, workplace safety, and infection control
-
Develop and update policies related to employee health, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Provide consultation and education to departments on employee wellness and risk mitigation
