Flex Attorney – Data Support Services
Description:
• Work directly with business and data stakeholders to support internal initiatives involving data access, compliance, and analysis
• Conduct structured data interviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand data sources, usage, and governance
• Collaborate with data owners to facilitate lawful and efficient data extraction, transfer, or access
• Review and interpret corporate policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements related to data handling
• Provide guidance on data compliance matters, including privacy, retention, and internal policy alignment
• Draft memos, guidance documents, or summary findings to inform internal decision-making
• Work with internal counsel, compliance, and IT/data teams to align legal processes with business operations
Requirements:
• J.D. degree and active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• Minimum of 2–4 years of legal eDiscovery experience, preferably with exposure to data governance, privacy, compliance, or corporate law
• Ability to distill technical or operational information into clear, actionable legal insights
• Experience working in or with regulated industries, such as aviation, is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfort working independently and managing multiple tasks on a flexible schedule
