<p><strong><u>Job Profile</u></strong></p><ul><li>Collect, clean, and analyze economic data (GDP, inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, debt, trade flows, etc.).</li><li>Develop and maintain econometric models (DSGE, VAR/SVAR, Taylor Rule frameworks, etc.) to support forecasting and scenario analysis.</li><li>Monitor central bank policies, government announcements, and global economic developments, and assess their implications.</li><li>Prepare research briefs, reports, charts, and presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Build and update databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data.</li><li>Support economist and other analysts in thematic policy studies and special projects.</li><li>Translate quantitative analysis into clear insights for decision-makers.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>Applicant Profil</u></strong>e</p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Hons), with specialization in econometrics preferred.</li><li>At least 1 year of work experience in economic research or a related field.</li><li>Solid academic background in macroeconomics, microeconomics, international economics, and quantitative analysis.</li><li>Proficiency in statistical and econometric software (STATA, Excel; knowledge of R or EViews is advantageous).</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>High attention to detail, analytical rigor, and a strong work ethic.</li><li>Experience working with macroeconomic, financial, or policy-related datasets.</li><li>Familiarity with forecasting models and advanced quantitative methods</li><li>Ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>Motivation to stay updated on global and domestic economic developments.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and a collaborative mindset.</li></ul>
