Part-Time Infant-Toddler Classroom Aide (Palmer Center Early Head Start) – To assist the teacher
and cooperate in a supportive role, providing and carrying out developmentally appropriate activities and
care. To promote the health, nutrition, and education of the children enrolled in our Early Head Start
programs and to attend to their safety and welfare.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED

• Infant-Toddler CDA Credential (or equivalent) - preferred upon hire – required after two years (ITCA I)
• reputed company Infant-Toddler CDA Credential (or equivalent) – required (ITCA II)
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Education Practices – generally gained through one year of experience

• Maintain reputed company CPR/First Aid Certification through an Approved Trainer

• Participate in Required Annual Trainings

• reputed company to Lift and Carry up to 50 Pounds
• Capable of Getting Up and Down from the Floor with Ease

• Occasionally work 8 hour days to attend agency required training
