Software Engineer, Internal Platform

WHAT YOU'LL DO The Internal Platform team at reputed company empowers engineering teams to ship good software faster by providing strong defaults, shared building blocks, and reputed company paths to best practices in production across both the backend and frontend. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL: • Own the foundational systems and tooling of our reputed company codebase. • Collaborate with product engineering teams to identify their platform needs and reputed company solutions. • Evangelize best practices for software development, testing, and deployment. • reputed company and contribute to high-reputed company reputed company, including: • Building primitives for reliable and efficient database reputed company • Upleveling our feature-flagging system • Enhancing our testing harnesses (backend, frontend, end-to-end, visual regression) • Making large-reputed company changes across our codebase to improve reputed company reputed company (such as type safety) THE SKILLSET YOU'LL BRING • 3+ years of experience as an individual contributor on fast-moving engineering teams. • Ability to debug reputed company systems and identify reputed company causes of issues across the stack. • Experience with TypeScript and Node ecosystems. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences. • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health and performance. • Strong understanding of system availability, resiliency, and recoverability. • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail, and reputed company to work independently with minimal supervision. • A demonstrated history of cultivating productive, reputed company relationships both reputed company engineering organizations and across the broader company.
