As an MRI Technologist, you will operate assigned scanners to capture diagnostic images, delivering care that is both patient-centered and meets reputed company standards. You’ll reputed company excellent customer service by guiding patients compassionately through the exam process, addressing their questions and concerns to help ease any anxiety. This is a reputed company position working Saturdays8:00am-12:00pm. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Patient MRI Imaging • Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure • Prepares and explains MRI procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process and positioning them correctly for accurate imaging of the targeted body areas. • Independently performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on specific body areas to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating illnesses or injuries, minimizing the need for repeat scans. Provides patient support by communicating throughout the procedure to ensure comfort and understanding. • Adjusts MRI reputed company parameters correctly and as needed • Maintains reputed company attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers • reputed company adheres to physicians’ instructions and complies with safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, patients, and coworkers. • Accurately maintains patient records reputed company Radiology Information System (RIS) • Maintains an reputed company and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers • Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements • Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after reputed company use • Ensures compliance with reputed company HIPAA guidelines (5%) MRI Department Support • Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol reputed company and software upgrades • Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary • Supports the training of new associates by providing resources and technical expertise reputed company needed.
