Work and Family Life Consultant (Remote/Multiple Locations | Military Families)
Deliver non-clinical education, consultation, and training to Sailors and their families, helping them navigate relocation, deployment, transition, and life skills challenges.

Job Overview:
As a Work and Family Life (WFL) Consultant, you will provide direct services through individual consultations, group training, and information/referral services. You will play a key role in supporting readiness and resilience for Navy families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver classroom training, workshops, and seminars across WFL program areas.
• Provide one-on-one consultation, resource referral, and individualized support to Sailors and families.
• Facilitate relocation assistance, deployment readiness, transition assistance, and life skills education.
• Document services and ensure compliance with Navy reporting requirements.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and crisis response activities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a social science or related behavioral science field; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licensure: Not required; non-clinical role.
• Experience: Experience delivering training, education, or social services programs.
• Other: U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background investigation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of military family systems and resources.
• Public speaking and group facilitation skills.
Compensation:
$45,000 to $75,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
Positions are contingent and will begin upon contract award.
