About the position Responsibilities • Serve as leader within Turn Up Turnout, Sponsored Student Organization • Attend Flint campus specific meetings as well as larger steering meetings with the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, and Flint campus leaders • Liaise with on campus and off campus partners to plan and coordinate voter education efforts on campus • Provide resources to students interested in civic, community, & democratic engagement • Engage with leaders on other University of Michigan campuses for larger tri-campus initiatives and planning • Remain non-partisan while engaged in the responsibilities of the position • Other responsibilities as assigned. Requirements • Enrolled student at UM-Flint • Ability to keep information confidential • The desire to learn & educate fellow students • Commitment to non-partisan participation in all duties related to fellowship and collaborative voter work • Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel locally as needed to off-campus locations.
