Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and execute strategic business plans for your assigned account base, including seasonal and annual growth objectives, category objectives, distribution objectives, and promotional plans.
- Meet and exceed annual sales quota through effective sales strategies, relationship-building, and negotiation.
- Determine and sell the most effective merchandise mix and prepare stock to sales plans (by month) where appropriate.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and events as required by management to represent Workwarp professionally and build relationships with key accounts.
Account Management and Relationship-Building
- Develop a coverage plan that services your account base and maximizes sales and distribution.
- Work effectively with brand managers to maximize Workwarp distribution within your account base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including regular communication, needs assessment, and problem-solving.
- Represent Workwarp professionally to all accounts within your territory, adhering to company standards and values.
Reporting and Administration
- Submit all reporting as required by management, including sales data, account activity, and market trends.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by management, including special projects and initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of wholesale footwear territory sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and margin goals.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and proprietary software, including retail math and sales analytics.
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record, with the ability to travel approximately 80% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with sales analytics and data analysis to inform sales strategies and optimize account performance.
- Familiarity with the footwear industry and key players, including trends, challenges, and market dynamics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
