Job Responsibilities

As an Assistant Math Learning Center Director, you will play a key role in driving the success of our center. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
  • Assisting with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
  • Providing exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
  • Leading and coaching team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Managing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
  • Mentoring and supporting employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
  • Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
  • Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for math and working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
  • Proficiency in computer skills

  • Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
  • Provide work authorization
  • Pass a background check
