Job Summary
As a Senior Analyst, Content Material Valuation, you will be responsible for establishing arm's length-based content material pricing and preparing quarterly close and economic planning deliverables for scripted and unscripted content certified by Hulu and Disney+ globally. You will also consolidate quarterly regional content material valuation submissions and identify key variance drivers and distill effects into actionable insights for senior management.
Key Responsibilities:

- Consolidate quarterly regional content material valuation submissions and identify key variance drivers and distill effects into actionable insights for senior management.
- Assist in preparing long-range and budget making plans deliverables, as needed.
- Function as the primary touch point for key stakeholders at DTC Finance, Studio Finance, Participations, and Controllership.
- Partner with finance stakeholders to understand and improve process efficiencies and best practices.
- Curate and synthesize large amounts of data to draw conclusions and make recommendations resulting in actionable insights.
- Mechanically tune and maintain content performance (including Nielsen scores, critical review scores, and industry awards) for network and cable primetime applications.
- Participate in a variety of ad hoc projects to introduce new concepts and improve knowledge of key standards across the spectrum of content distribution and licensing.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of modern experience in financial analysis, finance, and/or 2+ years from a Big Four CPA firm.
- Self-starter, inventive, flexible, and proactive who is willing to pitch in anywhere needed.
- Experience working with minimal supervision; ability to scope, identify, and execute value-added processes and process upgrades.
- Robust project control abilities with the capacity to track and establish targets, manipulate multiple priorities, and pivot quickly based on immediate needs of the business.
- Capability to build sturdy, collaborative relationships with inner stakeholders and associate across all levels of management.
- Experience with huge data sets and analytical tools with a proven capability to research quantitative and qualitative data.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, agency, sturdy problem-solving abilities, excellent work ethic, and capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), sturdy financial modeling talents required.
- Required understanding and application of pivot tables and advanced Excel formulas such as INDEX, MATCH, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, VSTACK, and nested IF statements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ardor for the leisure enterprise and television programming; content material licensing experience is a plus.
- BA/BS in Business, Arithmetic, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.
