SAP Basis Help Desk Analyst - L1 - Government Systems Technologies Inc. (GSTi)
Title: Level 1 SAP Basis Help Desk Analyst Location: Remote
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Level 1 Basis Help Desk - trouble shoot basic problems and triage to Level 2 for bigger issues
Work with SAP Senior Basis consultants
Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches and updates as needed.
Perform system copies, refreshes, and client copies as part of system maintenance activities.
Administer the SAP database in alignment with agreed standards to maximize system performance and availability.
Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule downtime and minimize impact on business operations during maintenance activities.
Monitor Backups for successful completion
Monitor SAP systems and create Service Now tickets
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years SAP basis experience
Experience in SAP Backup and Recovery, SAP Basis Monitoring, SAP Patch Management, Router Configuration, SAP Kernel Administration and SAP HANA & S/4HANA.
HANA experience a big plus
Competencies:
- Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts and administration tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
Excellent English language written and oral communication skills.
Customer orientation.
