Job Summary

As a Production Associate I - Disassembly, Cleaning, and Inspection, you will be responsible for disassembling diesel engines and components, cleaning engine parts, and performing quality inspections to ensure that all parts meet our high standards. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disassembly and Cleaning: Disassemble diesel engines and components, and clean engine parts to prepare them for inspection.
  • Quality Inspection: Perform quality inspections to identify non-conforming materials and ensure that all parts meet our quality standards.
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance: Adhere to all HSE policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with teammates and support staff to meet production goals and participate in training and process improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and suggest changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks and mechanical systems.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform manual labor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing or mechanical role is a plus.
  • Engine Experience: Experience working with engines or similar mechanical systems.
