Key Responsibilities:
- Listen carefully to callers and evaluate their situations to provide appropriate solutions and resolve their issues
- Provide exceptional customer service, exhibiting a high degree of caring and empathy on each call
- Handle stressful situations in a calming manner, reassuring and controlling emotional and difficult calls
- Multi-task to find answers while on calls with customers
- React and respond decisively in emergency situations
- Utilize strong customer service skills, including active listening
Requirements and Qualifications:
To succeed as a Customer Support and Response Specialist, you will need:
- A caring, sympathetic, and helpful demeanor
- Strong customer service skills, including active listening
- The ability to multi-task and find answers while on calls with customers
- The ability to react and respond decisively in emergency situations
- The ability to reassure, control, and diffuse emotional and difficult calls
- Prior experience with driver assistance programs is a bonus, but not required
- Fluent English language skills; bilingual contractors fluent in Spanish and English or French and English are encouraged to apply
Schedule and Flexibility:
As an independent contractor with Working Solutions, you will enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to work from home and choose your own hours! Our client hours of operation are open 24x7, with day, night, and weekend hours available. You can select the hours that work best for you, with contract hours ranging from 15 to 40 hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits:
As a Customer Support and Response Specialist, you can expect to earn:
- $0.28 per customer interaction minute, with a minimum guarantee of 45 minutes per available hour
- An equivalent of $12.60 - $16.80 per hour
- Bilingual contractors will earn $0.31 per customer interaction minute, with a 48-minute minimum guarantee
- Bilingual contractors can expect to earn an equivalent of $14.88 - $18.60 per hour
Technology Requirements:
To work as a Customer Support and Response Specialist, you will need:
- A quiet, uninterrupted environment during all working hours
- A broadband internet connection, recommended at least 10 MBPS
- A wired internet connection to be used during tech setups, while attending education classes, and while working
- A Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating system
- Valid antivirus software installed, running, and up to date
- A wired USB headset with microphone (Gaming headsets not accepted)
- A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad, and willingness to install an authentication app related to program work

Contractual Relationship:
As an independent contractor with Working Solutions, you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of this program assignment. Working Solutions will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with Working Solutions. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against Working Solutions hereunder or otherwise for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.
