About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation platform, built on API-First and Cloud-First best practices. As a senior technical leader, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, build, test, and deliver innovative enterprise-grade solutions. Your expertise will help us transform our existing software applications into a modern, scalable system, driving business innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of our platform, ensuring alignment with API-First and Cloud-First principles
• Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to identify problems and opportunities, championing innovative solutions
• Develop high-quality code using clean code practices, automated testing, and continuous integration/delivery tools
• Drive technology innovation, standards, and best practices across the organization
• Mentor team members in best practices, providing guidance on implementation strategies
• Participate in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) program increment and sprint-related events
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance

What You Need to Be Successful

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on cloud computing and API development
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions, with experience in large, complex, and highly scalable systems
• Strong expertise in cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), with experience in TypeScript, Node.js, Angular, Serverless, and Cloud Computing
• Experience with agile software development processes, continuous integration/delivery tools, and source control management
• Critical thinking and first-principle thinking abilities, with a passion for innovation and problem-solving

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of architectural patterns and Clean Code principles
• Experience with Amazon AWS architecture (API Gateway, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, EventBridge, Lambda, Relational Database Service)
• Familiarity with Test Automation and Behavior Driven Development
• Experience with Azure DevOps for work management and CI/CD, and GitHub for source control management
• Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
