Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Grants Pass, OR. As a Radiologic Technologist at Asante, you'll play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. You'll work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes and make a positive impact on our community.

Key Responsibilities

* Administer radiological examinations in accordance with department policies and procedures and accepted clinical standards * Evaluate film quality for technique, positioning, and protocol compliance, and make necessary adjustments to achieve quality film results * Track and maintain all radiology exam reports received from consulting radiologists, ensuring that reports are reviewed by treating physicians and properly filed * Prepare films for medical records requests by authorized external facilities or patients, and maintain a tracking log of films to be returned * Prepare charts in accordance with clinic protocols, ensuring that all test results and past medical history are included in the chart for visits * Assist with front office, surgery scheduling, billing, and medical records, as necessary * Field and conduct patient calls, manage the In-Basket, prepare charts, and enter ancillary service orders and computerized provider order entries (CPOE) as necessary

Requirements and Qualifications

* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as needed for the position * Successful completion of radiology technology coursework * Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI), or Licensed in Radiography by the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) with certification in Radiography (R) * Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) * Superior prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple changing priorities and perform under pressure * Quick study with the ability to learn a variety of medical procedures, such as blood draws and medical assisting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds * Proficient with computers and ability to learn computer systems required to gain access to patient records

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting * Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and computerized provider order entries (CPOE) * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
