As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our IT asset data. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, develop data-driven insights, and drive process improvements that elevate our IT asset management program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Quality Evaluation: Assess the quality of asset data across software, hardware, and capital assets using ServiceNow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Develop repeatable methodologies to detect data anomalies, ensure compliance, and reveal trends. Utilize data visualization techniques to communicate complex data insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration and Remediation: Work closely with technical teams, business analysts, and process owners to disseminate findings and assist in the formulation of effective remediation plans.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Develop and produce reports encompassing compliance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to data management and operational processes, driving enhancements in IT asset management and automation of inventory and asset tracking methodologies.
  • ITAM Program Evolution: Contribute to the evolution of our IT asset management (ITAM) program by recognizing gaps and influencing governance standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
  • Data Analysis Expertise: Strong expertise in data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematics, with the ability to apply these skills to drive business outcomes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in managing large datasets with MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Power BI. Familiarity with ServiceNow (particularly HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and CMDB) is a must, with experience in Splunk and Power BI being a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical acumen and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and ability to drive data-driven decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • SDLC and Project Management: Understanding of the System/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies, enabling you to navigate complex IT projects and initiatives.
  • Finance and Procurement Knowledge: Knowledge of finance and procurement processes, including accounts payable, depreciation, net book value, and fixed assets, to inform IT asset management decisions.
  • Process Improvement Mindset: A commitment to continual process improvement, driving enhancements in data management and operational processes.
