About the Internship Opportunity

We're excited to announce an internship opportunity on the Netfx Crew, a developing go-functional visual consequences (VFX) initiative built on Netflix's innovative platform that optimizes the pairing of skills to responsibilities to execute a high volume of global paintings. As an intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a program that offers training and development to provide you with the skills and expertise necessary to become a strong candidate for future entry-level positions in business analytics, regardless of domain.

About the Role

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Analyst Intern. As a Data Analyst Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including:

• Conducting a comprehensive evaluation of current well-constructed transactional, digital marketplaces
• Studying and examining industry developments and competitive landscapes for global marketplaces
• Providing insights and hints based on market evaluation to aid strategic decision-making
• Collaborating with senior team members to plot and refine aggressive pricing techniques
• Helping to develop financial models to evaluate business performance and assess capability situations
• Making a contribution to forecasting and budgeting procedures to assist financial planning efforts
• Collaborating with teams across departments to recognize business
• Participating in meetings and presentations to share findings and pointers

About You

We're looking for a candidate who is passionate about working in the entertainment industry and has an interest in global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/setter) experience. You should be living in the L. location during the internship (relocation and housing guide may be supplied, if applicable). You'll need to have basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel).

Essential Qualifications

• Interest in working in the entertainment industry
• Interest in global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/setter) experience
• Living in the L. location during the internship (relocation and housing guide may be supplied, if applicable)
• Basic knowledge of computers
• Familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in data analysis or a related field
• Knowledge of statistical software and programming languages (e.g. R, Python)
• Experience working with large datasets and data visualization tools
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
