Job Summary
We're looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team in Brazil. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in acquiring, developing, and managing high-value debts for new products, fee pricing, and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibilities will include researching product selection gaps, executing GTM strategies to attract key marketplace players, and maximizing our products' selection facet and customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis and Research: Develop a thorough understanding of the marketplace segment, seasonality, and global developments/activities, and continuously monitor competitor efforts.
- Seller Acquisition and Onboarding: Identify, prospect, and obtain high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations.
- Seller Enablement and Support: Guide sellers through sharing best practices of online selling, including statistics-driven insights that help sellers achieve high standards of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders to recognize and resolve vendor problems.
Primary Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree is required.
- Sales Experience: 1-3 years of sales experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, preferably in the e-commerce, retail, FMCG, or consumer electronics industries.
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding sales objectives using a consultative and solutions-focused approach.
- Product Knowledge: Enjoy promoting nascent products/offers into new markets is strongly preferred.
- Communication and Presentation Skills: Advanced communication and presentation skills, a robust working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs, and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be enthusiastic about success and winning.
- Commercial Acumen: Remarkable commercial judgment with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical skills and quantitative abilities, with ease in handling complex financial data.
- Leadership and Time Management: Ability to think and lead in a high-energy, rapid-paced environment, with a strong "hands-on" management style and demonstrated potential to manage multiple, competing priorities concurrently.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- E-commerce Experience: 2+ years of e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry is a plus.
- Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
