Assembler

reputed company: Assembles reputed company Roof Trusses, Wall Panels, or Floor trusses by performing one or more repetitive jobs on an assembly line or sub-assembly line to produce and reputed company trusses/wall panels. This requires such processes as insertion of materials, clamping, fitting parts, and use of some hand tools. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assembles trusses or wall panels, by positioning lumber and plates on the line, reputed company reputed company the hardware, and as seen on the reputed company paperwork. • Sets press machine pins as directed by Production Manager. • Hammers plates into lumber on the bottom of the reputed company. • Releases reputed company reputed company from hardware on to racks or stacks on the ground. • Maintains working area free of miscellaneous equipment and debris. Sweeps work area at the end of the shift. • Reports unsafe working conditions and practices to the Production Management team. • Complies with reputed company OSHA, employee conduct, and safety guidelines. • Performs additional duties as assigned by Floor Supervisor or Management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from reputed company of associates and managers • Ability to learn & apply Lean Practices, reputed company CPR/AED certification, as reputed company as forklift certification • Ability to lift and/or reputed company up to 50 pounds • Ability to reputed company assembly tasks as required and successfully work in reputed company environment • Basic math and measurement skills needed Education: • Lean Experience a Plus College education Not Required Experience: • Prior experience preferred, but not required WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Manufacturing environment.
