Key Responsibilities

• Learn and perform standard 25 and 50-minute one-on-one stretch sessions, covering all major muscle groups and extremities.
• Customize stretch sessions to fit the individual needs of clients, assessing their bodies and discussing outcome goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service, delivering a high-end experience to every client and promoting future visits and membership options.
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, building strong relationships and retaining clientele.
• Manage client care by updating client notes consistently and booking weekly recurring appointments.
• Ensure the safety of clients by enforcing StretchLab policies and safety rules, and maintaining a clean and organized studio environment.
• Assist Sales Associates and the General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed.
• Maintain a strong social media presence to promote client membership and retention.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed as a Flexologist at StretchLab Appleton, you will need:

• A nationally certified and/or licensed qualification in a relevant field, such as physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, personal training, massage therapy, yoga instruction, or Pilates teaching.
• A minimum of 2 years of previous experience in a fitness facility, private training environment, or professional health setting.
• Superior communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to connect with people and motivate them to achieve their goals.
• The physical ability to perform stretch routines on clients of all sizes and age groups, lifting a minimum of 25-30 lbs above the head with ease.
• A passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility, with a desire to continually learn new principles in these areas.
• Hands-on training and experience in areas such as anatomy, kinesiology, corrective exercise, post-rehab, and injury prevention are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills will be highly regarded:

• Experience working in a boutique fitness environment.
• Knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology, and corrective exercise.
• Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
• A strong social media presence and ability to leverage this to promote client membership and retention.
