About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in developing and delivering innovative SaaS solutions. As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a critical role in influencing the technical strategy for our new product, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring engineering excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Write clean, maintainable code and develop new features and components that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and improve our SaaS product, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.
• Provide guidance and leadership to junior engineers on the team, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
• Ensure software systems are reliable, scalable, and high-performing, troubleshooting issues when they arise and implementing solutions that drive long-term success.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Expertise in working with technologies such as Java, Spring, React, NodeJS, and SQL Databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions.
• Experience working with large-scale systems and event-driven architectures, with a deep understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on software engineering or a related area.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker.
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly into software development.
• A background in creating inclusive digital experiences and a passion for driving accessibility and usability in software development.
