Key Responsibilities: Leading Creative Excellence
- Inspire and Lead: Guide the Design, Digital, and Content Production groups, fostering a culture of creative excellence and innovation.
- Creative Vision: Ensure creative execution quality is aligned with the creative vision, collaborating with Creative Directors to execute ideas flawlessly.
- Oversee Creative Work: Manage all creative work end-to-end, ensuring quality standards and client objectives are met while upholding the creative vision for the group.
- Integration and Partnerships: Drive the integration of all creative work, including teaming with external agencies to ensure a holistic customer experience and building partnerships across American Express.
- Presenting Creative Work: Along with Creative Directors, present high-priority creative work to Business Unit stakeholders, including Executive and Senior-level Clients.
- Championing OnBrand's Work: Be the champion of the work OnBrand creates with internal stakeholders, driving issue resolution and collaborating on department budget with the OnBrand operational excellence team.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Attract, inspire, and retain the industry's most talented creative professionals, building a diverse and inclusive team.
Preferred Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a seasoned agency creative leader with a proven track record of inspiring teams, leading creative work, and building a creative culture. The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, with a deep understanding of design, digital, and content creation.
- A creative leader who sets the tone for the work, with a keen eye for quality and a passion for innovation.
- Experience working at a leading in-house or external design agency, with a strong understanding of the creative industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop a deep understanding of the American Express brand and its sub-brands.
- A strong, empathetic leader, with demonstrated ability to develop and mentor talent and build diverse, inclusive creative teams.

Salary and Benefits
The expected salary range for this role is $185,000 to $260,000 annually, plus bonus and equity (if applicable). We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits.
