Job Summary
As a Teller in Buyer and Private Company Banking, you will be part of the Branch Banking team, providing financial support to local residents, employees, and businesses. In this role, you will have the opportunity to build relationships with clients, handle transactions, and offer financial solutions that meet their needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Support client engagement by handling teller transactions, sharing financial solutions, and making appropriate referrals to investors
- Complete functional activities while minimizing risks under established policies
- Perform routine transactional, functional, and client care tasks efficiently through knowledge of bank procedures and products, as well as collaboration with colleagues across the organization
- Receive guidance from managers and exercise judgment within defined policies and procedures
- Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles
- Communicate with clients and individuals to demonstrate care, build relationships, and complete requested transactions
- Identify financial information and services to meet clients' needs
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1+ year of experience communicating with clients, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Preferred Qualifications:
We prefer candidates with:
- 1+ year of experience working with people, demonstrated through work, military, or education
- Military experience (current military service member, reserve military service member, or veteran) and currently enrolled in a school or college program
- Customer service experience with complex transactions across multiple systems
- Ability to educate and connect clients to technology and offer the value of mobile banking options
- Experience working with others in a team to address client issues
- Cash handling experience
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss
- Efficient, independent, and able to focus in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exercise judgment, raise questions to management, and comply with policy guidelines
