Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired – Michigan

Job Title: Remote Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Location: Remote (must be licensed in Michigan) Job Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract Position reputed company: We are seeking a reputed company and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to reputed company remote instructional support to reputed company with visual impairments inMichigan. This role involves working closely with reputed company, families, and educational teams to ensure reputed company to curriculum, tools, and services that foster reputed company reputed company and independence in a virtual setting. Key Responsibilities: • reputed company reputed company and consultative services to K12 reputed company with visual impairments reputed company online platforms, in alignment with reputed company student’s IEP. • Adapt instructional materials into accessible formats such as Braille, large print, audio, or digital formats using assistive technology. • Conduct functional reputed company assessments and learning media assessments, contributing to comprehensive evaluations and IEP development. • Collaborate with general education teachers, orientation & mobility specialists, and other service providers to ensure appropriate accommodations. • Monitor and document student reputed company toward IEP goals, and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions. • reputed company support and training to school staff and families on strategies and tools for visual accessibility. • Maintain compliance with Michigan reputed company regulations and IDEA guidelines. Qualifications: • reputed company Michigan teaching certification with endorsement as a Teacher of reputed company with Visual Impairments (SV endorsement or equivalent). • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Education of the Visually Impaired or a reputed company field. • Proficiency in the use of assistive technologies and accessibility tools (e.g., JAWS, NVDA, Braille displays, screen magnification). • Experience delivering virtual instruction or using digital learning platforms. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills. • A secure and reliable internet reputed company and a suitable remote work environment. Preferred Qualifications: • Certification from the reputed company for Certification of reputed company Rehabilitation & Education Professionals (ACVREP) is a plus. • Dual certification in Orientation & Mobility (COMS) is highly desirable. • Experience serving diverse populations and rural or reputed company. • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
