As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving routine problems, and driving sales growth through inbound and outbound calls and online interactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound and receive inbound sales calls to new and existing prospects to enable merchants to begin accepting new acquisitions.
- Communicate with merchants via email and other written channels to research payment acceptance criteria and facilitate payment processing.
- Explain payment requests, describe fees, and help suppliers understand product value.
- Assist customers in setting up payment systems to enable them to receive payments.
- Collaborate with sales channels and business teams to facilitate lead management and closure.
- Run reporting, provide business insights, and resolve leads requiring additional information.
- Verify payment acceptance criteria and execute changes in payment methods as needed.
- Handle virtual card numbers, process payments, and service merchant inquiries.
- Address merchant escalations, clarify customer requirements, and provide resolutions using decision-support tools and resources.
- Greet customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, maintaining basic knowledge of client products and services.
- Respond to customer inquiries by referring them to published materials, secondary sources, or more senior staff.
Essential and Preferred Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Customer service experience with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, relationship building, and consultative probing.
- Telesales experience (a plus, but not required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional listening and relationship building skills.
- Proficient multitasking and system navigation skills.
- Ability to demonstrate resiliency in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Team-oriented behavior and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to overcome objections and de-escalate conflicts.
- Sales/financial experience (a plus, but not required).
