About the Role: Commercial Insurance Sales Producer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Sales Producer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships with business owners, identifying new business opportunities, and growing an existing book of business. You will work closely with our Commercial Lines Account Manager to create, submit, and issue new business policies and renew existing business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and develop relationships with business owners via marketing, cold calling, referrals, centers of influence, and other sales strategies
  • Collaborate with Commercial Lines Account Manager to create, submit, and issue new business policies and renew existing book of business
  • Conduct needs analysis with each client to identify gaps in coverage and provide tailored insurance solutions
  • Respond to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, and coverage in a prompt and timely manner
  • Become familiar with our products, services, and systems to provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Meet monthly sales quotas by following our set processes and contributing to individual goals and agency success
  • Promote new business, cross-sell, and participate in new initiatives to drive business growth and expansion

Requirements and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Property and Casualty insurance license required
  • Entrepreneurial personality with a strong desire to succeed in sales
  • Pass background check
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good operational computing skills, including Microsoft Office Suites and internet browsers, with a typing speed of 45+ WPM
  • Confident self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field
  • Proven track record of sales success and achievement of sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products and services, including commercial property, liability, and workers' compensation
  • Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and systems
