Job Summary
As a Customer Service Support Representative - Outbound, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. You will work with a variety of customers, including physician offices, hospital laboratories, patients, and internal stakeholders, to address their needs and provide product education. Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Support Representative - Outbound, your key responsibilities will include:
- Customer Engagement: Interact with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving their concerns via inbound, outbound calls, or the Internet.
- Product Education: Provide additional customer education and information as needed, ensuring that customers have a thorough understanding of our products and services.
- Customer Qualification: Qualify and establish new customers requesting LabCorp's products and services, ensuring that they meet our eligibility criteria.
- Issue Resolution: Research and resolve complex customer issues and questions, working in multiple databases to gather information and provide solutions.
- Test Results Notification: Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that they receive the information they need to make informed decisions.
- Administrative Support: Perform administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Essential Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a contact center or call center environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent ability to listen and respond.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with experience with Salesforce.com and/or Laboratory Information Systems preferred.

- Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office or hospital, highly preferred.
- LabCorp Experience: Current or previous LabCorp experience preferred.
- Multitasking Abilities: Excellent multitasking abilities, with strong flexibility and ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly.

Compensation and Benefits
